This product is made from high-quality, natural fibers that are durable and easy to care for. It contains no harmful adhesives, backings or chemical treatments (e.g. PFAS, phthalates, formaldehyde), making it a healthier choice than many mass-produced rugs. It is, however, dyed using commercial dyes, which may contain VOCs (volatile organic compounds). While these are common in many household products, this is something to be aware of in creating spaces for young children or where one may have special sensitivities.
