This product is made from mostly natural fibers that are durable and easy to care for. It contains no harmful adhesives, backings or chemical treatments (e.g. PFAS, phthalates, formaldehyde), making it a healthier choice than many mass-produced rugs. It is dyed using AZO free or natural dyes, offering a safer, more eco-conscious option for your home. To make this product rigid, however, the natural fibers have been blended with recycled PET yarn, which is a synthetic fiber. Synthetic fibers are known for emitting microplastics and is something to be aware of in creating spaces for young children or where one may have special sensitivities. We consider this a good step toward safer, more sustainable living. This product is also made in a verified facility where no unethical manufacturing practises were used.

28 years later, Lorena Canals now operates out of offices in Barcelona and New York. Their rugs are manufactured in two of their very own facilities in India where they have full control of the quality and best practices. Their designers work side by side with 120 artisans who take care of every detail in an elaborate handmade process. The brand prides itself on quality in every aspect of production, from the finest raw materials to socially responsible labour practices. Nowadays, Lorena Canals products are found worldwide in more than 2,500 points of sale, making its products available in more than 40 countries. Their offerings have expanded to include Home Decoration serving both children and grown-ups! About the Material

Made with Cotton

As you're probably aware, cotton is a natural fibre that comes from the cotton plant and grows commonly all over the world. It is a renewable and eco-friendly material that is easy to clean and maintain. Compared to wool, it is a less durable material due to its softer fibres and therefore, cannot take the pounding that wool rugs can. However, cotton rugs do offer an unparalleled feeling of softness, comfort and warmth.
