Lorena Canals started her company to fill the void of modern day living. Her rug designs are stylish and practical. Made from 100% cotton, her rug collection is machine-washable and is the new standard in the world of rug design.

28 years later, Lorena Canals now operates out of offices in Barcelona and New York. Their rugs are manufactured in two of their very own facilities in India where they have full control of the quality and best practices. Their designers work side by side with 120 artisans who take care of every detail in an elaborate handmade process. The brand prides itself on quality in every aspect of production, from the finest raw materials to socially responsible labour practices. About the Material

Cotton

Cotton is lightweight, practical, and above all, washable! Cotton is a natural and renewable fiber, known for its high absorption and insulation properties.
Not only is it soft and comfortable to the touch, but it is also hypoallergenic, durable and easy to clean, all which make a cotton rug a great choice for your home. With proper care, it will last for many years.

Care Instructions

Machine wash (capacity 6kg or more) separately using a delicate, max 30ºC program.
Do not use a washing machine with a center centrifuge / agitator, as it may damage the rug.
Use a mild detergent, and do not use softeners or bleach.
Select low spin speed if the rug has braids, fringes or pom poms. Do not leave the wet rug in the washer, as colors may run or stain.
Tumble dry at low temperature. Avoid drying in the sun.
Do not worry if lint appears, as this is residue fiber produced from cutting the cotton. We recommend regular vacuum cleaning using a low-power suction mode and a high-pile setting. Do not use a beater bar or any other rotating accessories which may damage the pile. We do not recommend the use of floor cleaning robots.
If you find any long or loose yarns, cut these using a pair of scissors. Do not pull the yarns.
