Lorena Canals started her company to fill the void of modern day living. Her rug designs are stylish and practical. Made from 100% cotton, her rug collection is machine-washable and is the new standard in the world of rug design.

28 years later, Lorena Canals now operates out of offices in Barcelona and New York. Their rugs are manufactured in two of their very own facilities in India where they have full control of the quality and best practices. Their designers work side by side with 120 artisans who take care of every detail in an elaborate handmade process. The brand prides itself on quality in every aspect of production, from the finest raw materials to socially responsible labour practices. Nowadays, Lorena Canals products are found worldwide in more than 2,500 points of sale, making its products available in more than 40 countries. Their offerings have expanded to include Home Decoration serving both children and grown-ups! Cotton

Cotton is a soft, breathable, and versatile natural fiber that adds comfort and ease to any rug. Loved for its gentle feel underfoot, cotton brings a casual, relaxed look while remaining durable enough for everyday living. As a renewable and biodegradable material, it’s also an eco-friendly choice that makes rugs easy to care for and perfect for creating a cozy, welcoming home.

Care Instructions

Machine wash (capacity 13lb or more) separately using a delicate, max 30ºC program.
Do not use a washing machine with a center centrifuge / agitator, as it may damage the rug.
Use a mild detergent, and do not use softeners or bleach.
Select low spin speed if the rug has braids, fringes or pom poms. Do not leave the wet rug in the washer, as colors may run or stain.
Tumble dry at low temperature. Avoid drying in the sun.
Do not worry if lint appears, as this is residue fiber produced from cutting the cotton. We recommend regular vacuum cleaning using a low-power suction mode and a high-pile setting. Do not use a beater bar or any other rotating accessories which may damage the pile. We do not recommend the use of floor cleaning robots.
If you find any long or loose yarns, cut these using a pair of scissors. Do not pull the yarns.
