About the Material

This rug is made from 100% recycled premium plastic derived from recycled food and medicine grade containers that have been shredded into pieces, mixed with coloring and melted into granules to form plastic tubes. The tubes are then weaved into a rug. The material is lightweight making it portable and easy to maintain. The yarn is smooth and soft while being truly hard-wearing, washable and weather resistant.

Care Instructions

• Due to its lightweight nature, simply give this rug a shake to remove dust and debris
• For heavier spills or dirt, bring it outside and hose off with water. Use mild detergent, if necessary
• Since moisture is not absorbed by the rug, your rug will dry off quickly in the sun
• Enjoy the rug and let your kids get messy!
• Rug pad is recommended to prevent slippage
