Woolables in Canada ~ YAY or NAY?

We have some EXCITING news to share!  For those who don't already know, Rugs by Roo is actually based in Canada.  But most of our sales efforts have been focused in the United States because most of our suppliers only have distribution warehouses in the United States.  It is important to us that orders made by you, our customers, are filled promptly.

It has, however, always been my dream to bring all our rugs into Canada since this is our home base.  As we grew our business over the years, we've experimented with different ways of getting our rugs into Canada.  We often run into delays at the border and get hit with a substantial amount of duties and taxes.  Yet we continue to offer our rugs to our Canadian customers because well, its hard to say no. 

With this in mind, you can understand why I am so excited about this upcoming new venture with Lorena Canals.  From now until the end of March, we will be running a trial period where we will be stocking select styles and quantities from Lorena's Woolables Collection in our Canadian warehouse.  By doing so, we can start to offer our Canadian customers free shipping within Canada at a quicker turnaround time.  There is a small catch though...

We will be restocking our Canadian warehouse only once a month.  The 15th of every month, to be exact.  All orders for Lorena Canals' Woolables rugs placed before the 15th of each month will be filled before the end of that month.  All orders placed after the 15th of every month will be filled at the end of the following month.

For example, if you place an order for a Woolables rug on March 3rd, your rug will be processed and shipped before March 30th.  If you place your order on March 17th, your rug will be processed and shipped before April 30th.

If all shapes out, Rugs by Roo can very well become the exclusive distributor in Canada for all of Lorena Canals Woolables and Cotton Home Collections.  Pretty cool, eh?  I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed.
