This revolutionary concept gives a second life to cotton waste and turns them into timeless designs. The RugCycled® Collection comes as a collection of washable rugs and textile accessories for kids' decor. With RugCycled®, Lorena Canals is able to achieve their goal of zero waste production. The dye-free collection also saves up to 90% in water and energy in their manufacturing process.

RugCycled® brings back some of Lorena Canals' most iconic designs with a renovated raw style provided by the all-natural finish of undyed cotton combined with recycled yarn. To make this collection, leftover production fabric is shredded into fibers and then spun into recycled yarn that is used to make the rugs' canvas bases. The designs are then tufted on top of the canvas in natural, undyed cotton, creating a soft and plush surface. Each rug design is outlined by revealing bare areas of the canvas and creating a debossed effect.

All Lorena Canals rugs are designed to be easily washed at home in a conventional washing machine. They are handmade one by one by artisans who take care of every detail, with 100% natural fibers and non-toxic dyes. Care Instructions for Cotton Rugs

• Wash separately at 30 degrees maximum (capacity 6kg for XS and S; 9kg for M)
• Use a gentle cycle and mild detergent without bleach
• Tumble dry at low temperature. Do not leave the wet rug inside the washing machine as colours may run or stain
• Avoid continuous exposure to the sun
• Do not worry if lint appears as this is residue fibres produced during cutting
• During the first few days, sweep the rug with a stiff broom in the direction of the plush
• Use a vacuum cleaner regularly. We do not recommend the use of robot vacuum cleaners
• If you find a long or loose threads, cut it with scissors. Never pull it
• Keep away from fire
• Enjoy the rug and let your kids get messy!
